When he escapes the walls of the school and gets involved in an adventure to find the lost Apache gold mine in Arizona, he starts to discover that clinging to his convections is not as cut and dried as he believed it would be. He struggles with his own Indian pride, when he ends up falling in love with a white woman, whom he knows he can never marry because of the fact that he is an Indian and the woman he loves would be shunned by her own people, if she became his wife.

Wanting to protect her from the shame of marrying an Indian, while loving her beyond reason, is a struggle that makes him question his own convictions, and what love is really all about.

Very good book

I enjoyed reading this historical romance. It begins with a young Apache boy being put on a train with other children from his tribe. They were taken to Philadelphia to the Carlisle Indian School, which he refers to as "Whiteman school." He is led down the city Main Street with the other Apaches, when a young girl runs up to him and gives him flowers. He never forgets that young girl and, unknown to him, she never forgets him. Several years later, he escapes from the school and they chance to meet when she boards a train that he jumps on to head back toward Arizona. This reunion leads to an adventure no one could predict. Read the book!

I really like this book. I would definitely suggest reading. It is a little slow at times but a truly great story!! The ending was so sweet!!!

Descending from saints, emperors, kings, nobles and heroes, His Highness Prince Gharios of Ghassan Al-Nu'Man VIII or in Arabic Emir Gharios (Ibn Jafna) Al-Ghassani Al-Nu'Man VIII is a legitimate descendant of the Arab Christian Ghassanid Kings, heir of the Byzantine Emperors from the Nikephoros (Phocid) and Macedonian Dynasty and from the Christian Sheikhs Chemor from Lebanon. His ascendants ruled until 1747 AD as legitimate descendants of the Ghassanid Kings.
Also, Prince Gharios' rights and titles were recognized by the International Arbitration Award number 0413/2011 that, according with the Brazilian Federal Law number 9307/96 has the very same legal value as a Federal Court Verdict and according with the the "1958 NY Convention on Arbitration" is a legal binding court decision in 142 nations in the world. A fascinating read

This well-written and well-researched book is so worthy; in spite of the vast amount of information presented here the book is not at all off-putting but is engaging and very easy to comprehend. It presents so much data on this topic which, to me, was mostly unfamiliar but is consistently presented concisely without talking down to the reader. It was hard to put down, actually! Most of us with any interest in nobility and royalty are often familiar with the workings of the most famous royal system, that of Great Britain. It would be natural to assume that all other royal dynasties operate similarly, with the same laws and rules. I found the differences fascinating, the history of the Ghassanid dynasty utterly surprising and intriguing and the legitimacy of HIRH Prince Gharios of Ghassan very well documented. I applaud the authors and look forward to any future works on this subject.

The subject is very interesting and there's a scarcity of available works in English. Hon. Judge Zvennia wrote a very important Foreword on titles vis a vis with the American Law. Also former Mexican Ambassador in Singapore and also jurist Eduardo Ramos endorses the book. I liked it.

About the Author
Scott Cranfill didn’t put on his first pair of running shoes until the early 2000s. Not unlike most recreational runners these days, once he got a taste for the sense of accomplishment and community running has to offer, he was hooked. Being a smoker and significantly overweight made going any distance daunting, but he kept at it. He vividly remembers feeling like he accomplished a huge feat on the day he reached the 6-mile mark on the treadmill in his basement. He’s had similar feelings at each major milestone in his running career, including his first marathon. In 2011, Scott and a friend decided to create their own race challenge, one that would keep them fit but wasn’t as time consuming as marathon training. They decided to dial it back—sort of—and concocted the idea of running a half marathon every month. Their belief was that by running a half each month, they would stay fit but spend less time training than what is needed for a marathon. Running in an “official” race each month would have been logistically challenging and very expensive. That’s when Scott and his friend decided to organize their own half marathon events and invited their running friends to join them. Within the first couple of months, they had a sizable running club of all capabilities taking up the challenge to walk or run a half marathon for 12 consecutive months. As participation grew, it became necessary to step up their game. They created a brand for the club, implemented a website to communicate with members and track their progress, established a budget to pay for race supplies, introduced new venues and routes, and streamlined the logistics of organizing a monthly race. Organizing a 5K distills all of his lessons learned along the way so you can create a beautiful race experience. Practical ways to put God first in everything

Some things seem so obvious, until it comes down to actually putting them into practice. Putting God first in everything we do is one of those things that should be obvious, but somehow, it doesn't always come across that way. In his latest book The God First Life: Uncomplicate Your Life, God's Way (Zondervan, 2014), Stovall Weems does an incredible job in offering tips to make things a lot less complicated than we usually see them as being.
Weems starts with a single, simple verse from the gospel of Matthew: Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well (Matt 6:33, NIV). For such a simple verse, it certainly is powerful, so powerful that I wondered if Weems wasn’t oversimplifying things. But he’s not. The place we should start is with God, and the rest will fall in to place. Ask anyone who tried doing things their way first, and then turning to God as the last resort. Most of them will be glad to tell you that they got things backward, and as a result they paid the price.
A major premise of this book is that putting God first allows the Christ follower to reap the promises of God, a new family, a new life and, and a new freedom. I usually don’t like books which the author claims will give you anything, I read this book expecting to find the catch, to find the words which would seem to be adding something to the gospel of Jesus, but it just wasn’t there.
Another thing that pleased me about this book is that the author doesn't paint everything as coming up roses. He talks about servant hood, he talks about giving, yes, giving, as in tithing, as in ten percent to the local church, and he does so unapologetically. We read that sometimes Christians suffer, just like anyone else, but it’s better to suffer as a Christian than as a non-believer.
Well placed scripture references reinforce the whole concept of putting God first. He even includes a breakdown of the Lord’s Prayer to help people understand the purpose of each phrase.

Pastor Stovall Weems explores the God-first Life. If you really seek His Kingdom first and trust that He will take care of the rest, your life will be transformed completely. Whether it's about your financial situation, understanding why church membership is important, and why discipline in reading God's word, listening to His voice are crucial to see miracles happen. The God-first life is not about strict rules or what you need to do or give up, but basically who needs to be #1 in your life. Elaborating the promise in Matthew 6 verse 33 Weems gives a fresh and practical perspective of what Christian discipleship is all about. The book's great for both young converts as well as seasoned believers that may have forgotten the very basics of a Christian's main priority. WOW this book simplifies it all by teaching key principles that Pastor Stovall makes so easy to implement!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a BETTER life with far less strife and complication! The book teaches how to 'restore order' and goes on to show how when order is restored, blessing is released! It makes sense that when we see an 'out of order' sign on a piece of machinery, that means it is not working. The book does a superb job in showing how this same principle applies to our life; 'out of order' means our life is not working as well! There are also some amazing stories that Pastor Stovall shares, one in particular while he was in the Amazon jungle that was a death defying story but taught him so much. The story is amazing and you don't want to miss it! Again I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to live a better life by restoring order, God's Way!

About the Author
Rashid Raziq Rashad born in Atlanta, GA on November 17, 1967 grew up in Techwood Homes the first public housing project built in America. Techwood Homes was completed in 1936, it was intended to eliminate the slums that the poor had been living in, but eventually became one itself. Throughout the 70s and 80s the area was synonymous with urban blight cascading in drugs and violence. His father Woodrow Stargell Jr. was a construction worker that helped build many of the commercial buildings in downtown Atlanta. His mother Eloise Stargell worked at nearby Georgia Tech for 38 years very seldom missing any days in those 38 years. His father was murdered by a so called family friend when he was only 8 years old. Rashid is the youngest of four children, Robert, Donna and “Scott”. Rashid has ten children, six grandchildren, and a beautiful loving supportive wife Anisa Rashad. Rashid graduated from Henry Grady High School in Atlanta, Ga. 1985 with a four year athletic scholarship from Savannah State University in football. Rashid started working at UPS part-time in1986 becoming full-time a few years later, after 13 years with UPS. Rashid started a courier service Navigator Express, Inc. from booth strap in 2000 with his brother “Scott” earning over a million dollars in just 3yrs and owning 4 homes. Rashid believes this was accomplished by understanding the power of family unity and how to use it to gain economic freedom for generations. Undeniably we humans all come from a family!

There are 3 recently published books covering the physics component of the First FRCR, which are updated to reflect the new curriculum. Out of all of them, I think this one is the best and most comprehensive. All in all, if you were to choose to invest in one book for the Physics module, I would definitely buy this one. Amazon review This book most accurately reflects the level of the FRCR part 1 physics paper. I failed my first attempt at the exam, by preparing using an online service (which shall remain nameless) and some of the lesser MCQ books. My second attempt was successful, in no small part due to this book which, whilst very dry indeed, matches quite closely the actual exam questions in scope and difficulty. If you can get most of the questions in this correct, then you should be fine for the exam.

Key Book to Buy to prepare for Physics FRCR 1 module

This is an excellent text for preparing for the FRCR physics module. The explanations are very helpful in saving time as the exam approaches. I used this along with the Cambridge FRCR 1 physics text and the FRCR get through physics text. Together all bases were covered and the exam was easy. Of all the texts though I found this the best (Buy this one if you can buy only one book) but realistically you do need at least the "get through" as an adjunct to get to see enough variation in question types to handle the exam with ease. The big selling point for this text is the detailed explanations of the answers. The section explaining effective doses does however need a minor revision to be in line with the latest data.

hard for beginners

book should be simplified and not too complex. people are reading this book because its easily available( though good in parts) but most of questions dosenot match with exam format
many unnecessary numbers and details are provided, however can be done if one is through textbook very very thoroughly
exam will be based on basic fundamentals and hardly there is ditto question from any MCQ book

Best Chicken Cookbook

After actually trying some of the recipes in A Chicken In Every Pot, I can wholeheartedly endorse this cookbook. The Barcelona Brown Bag Chicken is something a non-professional cook like me can do easily, and still impress my family and friends. And the Bangladesh Drums are to die for. The recipes are also great for someone who doesn't like to cook, like my husband, or for someone who loves to experiment with cooking, like me. This book's wide variety of international recipes shows you how to turn chicken into something you'll want to eat every night. Very few of these recipes appear in other chicken cookbooks I've seen, so you'll want to have this book in your collection.
